I’ve been a designer for over a decade, a manager for over half of it, and a leader in one shape or form for most of it.
Leadership looked different when I was a brand new designer, a new hire, an official manager of one, and a head of design with a dozen reports.
I’m passionate about design as a craft- but even more than that I’m passionate about helping designers build careers and lives they love.

I apply these values in every aspect of my life. They help guide me to be the best version of myself, and when I work in alignment of them – I feel unstoppable!
No matter the hat I wear – designer, manager, mentor, or coach – I take an individualized approach. Everyone brings different experiences, context, challenges, and desires – one size fits all just doesn’t work when we are talking about people.
So when people ask what working together looks like, my answer is: “It depends.”
Sometimes it’s about needing someone to listen, or to bounce ideas off of. Maybe you’re in a particular situation with a report or a project and I know just the workshop or framework to teach you that you can try. Maybe you want to cover every layer of leadership, or maybe you want to deep dive into one.
The best part is, you don’t have to know right now. We can figure it out together.
